Event Floor Plans

ExpoDiscover includes a built-in floor plan designer that lets you create interactive layouts for your events.

Creating a Floor Plan

1. Navigate to your event's edit page
2. Go to the Floor Plans section
3. Click Create New Plan or Attach Existing Plan

Floor Plan Designer

The visual editor lets you design layouts with:

Elements

• Booths & Stalls — Rectangular zones that can be assigned to exhibitors
• Facilities — Restrooms, food courts, first aid, information desks
• Flow Elements — Entrances, exits, pathways, escalators
• Zones — Registration areas, networking zones, stage areas

Tools

• Draw — Create rectangular or polygonal shapes
• Select — Click elements to move, resize, or edit properties
• Layers — Organize elements into layers for complex layouts
• Measure — Use the measurement tool for accurate dimensions
• Scale — Calibrate the plan to real-world measurements

Properties

Each element can have:

• Custom name and description
• Color coding by type or status
• Size and position coordinates
• Assigned exhibitor or vendor

Sharing Floor Plans

Published floor plans are visible to:

• Event attendees viewing the event detail page
• Potential exhibitors browsing booth options
• Service providers planning logistics

Tips

• Use the grid snap feature for aligned layouts
• Create separate layers for different floor levels
• Export plans as PDF for offline distribution
• Use the template feature to save layouts for reuse
