Managing Service Requests
This guide covers the complete service request lifecycle from receiving inquiries to completing bookings.
Request Dashboard
Access all your service requests from Company > Services > Manage. The dashboard shows:
- Pending — New requests awaiting your response
- Quoted — Requests where you've sent a price quote
- Accepted — Quotes that organizers have accepted
- Confirmed — Finalized bookings
- Completed — Past bookings
Responding to Requests
Sending a Quote
- Open the request to review details
- Click Send Quote
- Enter:
- Total Price with currency selection
- Line Items — Optional breakdown (e.g., "Setup: $500", "Equipment: $1,200")
- Message — Notes about pricing, inclusions, or conditions
- Submit the quote
Revising Quotes
If the organizer requests changes, you can send a revised quote:
- The quote version number increments automatically
- Previous quotes remain visible in the conversation thread
- Both parties can see the full quote history
Booking Confirmation
After the organizer accepts your quote:
- Review the agreed terms
- Click Confirm Booking
- The dates are blocked on your availability calendar
- Both parties receive confirmation notifications
Communication
Use the built-in thread for all communication:
- Messages are timestamped and stored for reference
- Attach files (contracts, specs, portfolios)
- System messages track all status changes automatically
Best Practices
- Respond to new requests within 24 hours
- Provide detailed quotes with clear line items
- Be upfront about cancellation policies
- Mark bookings as complete when the service is delivered
